The winter anime season of 2022 has concluded and Anime Corner held a poll to decide the best male and female seiyuu. With 48 nominees to choose from, over 18,000 fans have taken part in the polls that were held from March 31st to April 9th. Without further ado, here are the results for the top seiyuus this season.

This season’s best female seiyuu goes to Hina Suguta for her first main role as Marin Kitagawa who is also crowned as the best girl of winter 2022. Rie Takahashi who voiced Takagi from the third season of Teasing Master Takagi and Ninym from Genius Prince took second place. Rie was also a runner-up in last year’s winter seiyuu polls. Meanwhile, the seiyuu of Daki from Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc and Labyrista from Princess Connect, Miyuki Sawashiro placed third in the rankings.

Yuuki Kaji once again dominated the polls this season with his performance as Eren Yeager in Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2 and Nishikata in Teasing Master Takagi. It’s also worth mentioning that he was the best male seiyuu in the first-ever seiyuu poll Anime Corner held. On the other hand, veteran seiyuu Katsuyuki Konishi who voiced Tengen Uzui from Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc ranked second followed by a rookie seiyuu, Shouya Ishige who voiced this season’s best boy Gojo Wakana.
The winter anime season of 2022 had a handful of rookie seiyuus that voiced the characters we loved. It’s also nice to see some of them get the recognition they deserve. Needless to say, the veteran and prominent seiyuus also made this season complete. The winter season may have concluded but the upcoming seasons still have a lot to offer. Rest assured, this won’t be the last time we will hear these voices.
