Seven Kyoto Animation Anime Come Together in Special Illustration for 7th KyoAni Exhibition

Kyoto Animation has released a newly drawn illustration featuring seven anime ahead of the 7th KyoAni Fan Appreciation Event, titled “We Are Here, Now!! — The World of KyoAni Exhibition,” scheduled for October 25 and 26, 2025, at Miyakomesse in Kyoto. The illustration features characters from seven Kyoto Animation anime working together in an anime production setting.

Characters include:

• Midori Nagumo from CITY THE ANIMATION
• Kanna Kamui from Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid
• Kumiko Omae from Sound! Euphonium
• Minato Narumiya from Tsurune
• Haruka Nanase from Free!
• Violet Evergarden from Violet Evergarden series
• Rikka Takanashi from Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions

The studio also announced event-exclusive merchandise based on this new artwork and the exhibition’s key visuals. Items include clear files, wall tapestries, and rubber keychains designed to resemble tickets. These goods will be sold on-site during the event.

The exhibition itself will showcase over 1,000 production-related materials, including hand-drawn key animation, background art, color design references, CG assets, and compositing materials. Kyoto Animation states that the purpose of the event is to give fans a detailed view of its internal workflow, with an emphasis on the artistic and technical components of anime creation.
