My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 Reveals New Shinju Inui Character Visual

My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 anime revealed a new character visual featuring Shinju Inui. Studio CloverWorks is back in charge of the animation, along with the same main staff. The anime will premiere on July 5 alongside two other anime by CloverWorks. Crunchyroll will stream the anime as part of its Summer 2025 anime lineup.

Hina Yomiya voices Shinju in the anime, and you can see her new visual below.

Ayumu Murase and Shohei Komatsu were recently added to the voice cast as Amane Himeno and Shiki Kashiwagi. You can watch the main trailer for the anime below.

The anime adaptation began with a TV anime by CloverWorks in January 2022. The 12-episode series aired in Winter 2022, with the full voice cast including:

In our Winter 2022 Anime Awards, My Dress-Up Darling was voted Best New Anime, while Marin and Gojo were voted Best Girl and Best Boy of the season, respectively. Hina Suguta also won Best Female Seiyuu for her role as Marin.

The story follows Wakana Gojo, a high school boy with the goal to become a kashirashi, a master craftspan of Japanese Hina dolls just like his grandfather. He meets Marin Kitagawa, one of the popular girls in schools, whose passion is cosplaying. Now Wakana crafts incredible costumes for Marin, as the two break through the cosplay season while slowly growing feelings towards each other.
