What would be an anime without the best girl? Anime Corner conducted a poll for the title of the Best Girl of the Fall 2022 anime season and out of 100+ candidates, Hitori from the Bocchi the Rock! hit anime won first place. Love her or hate her, you can’t deny that Hitori is undeniably one of the most relatable characters of this year.
A total of 52,551 votes were cast and our Hitori got 5.30% of those (2,787). Akari Watanabe from More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers came in second, while Spy x Family’s Yor was third. Lowly humans bowed before Power and granted her fourth spot with their votes. Bocchi’s bandmate, Ikuyo Kita, was fifth, followed by mysterious Makima and Himeno from Chainsaw Man. Alpha from The Eminence in the Shadow was 9th, separating the two members of the Kessoku Band who were in the 8th and 10th place.
