The highly anticipated results of the 2023 Anime of the Year rankings are finally here. Anime Corner diligently conducted multiple polls to figure out the preferences of our vibrant community, which included over 60,000 fans. These results give us a cool peek into the different preferences that shaped the anime scene in 2023.
It is important to remember that these rankings are based on a large sample, but they shouldn’t be your only choice for anime. Each anime has its own distinct style and charm, and everyone’s preferences differ. The diverse range of shows in 2023 means that there’s likely something for everyone, and your personal favourite may not have received the attention it deserves in this poll.

This category received 69,482 votes, and the results are quite interesting. Bungo Stray Dogs has taken the lead, with Attack on Titan coming in second. The top three series are all sequels, so Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is the best new anime of 2023.
